Kelly Collins joined DGP as Director of Client Services, to support organizational growth. In this role, she will provide strategic client direction, build new affiliations and maintain existing relationships while ensuring the projects are implemented according to plan.

Kelly has over years 15 years of recruiting experience as well as acquiring and accounts for high-growth organizations. She has successfully developed and implemented recruiting and business development plans to maximize revenue and penetrate market. She has a talent for cultivating candidates and client relationships, quickly resolving issues to facilitate superior service. Kelly is an articulate communicator, able to forge solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders by developing seamless solutions to meet specific needs and wants. She is passionate about creativity and collaboration, a quick and efficient problem solver who pays close attention to detail. Kelly has successfully assisted in the development of strategic workforce programs to deliver exceptional results to many organizations for the last 10 years.

Kelly earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Management and continued her education to obtain a Master’s in Psychology.  She chose this path because she is passionate about helping others and enjoys being a team player. She has advanced complex problem-solving skills and is well versed in account management, talent acquisition, human resources, strategic initiatives, operations, training and development

Mercedes Burgos-Rosas

Mercedes Burgos-Rosas oversees iterative functions; assisting in the overall development and strategic Human Resources. Most importantly she assists in talent acquisition. Mercedes assists her counterparts at DGP in building teams of professionals that are game-changers at various client organizations.

Mercedes has a diverse background in the areas of project management. strategic human resources planning, risk management, board/governance relations, event planning, healthcare, insurance and real estate. Mercedes is a lead on recruiting efforts for all retained and executive-level searches.

Mercedes is an Alumnus of the University of Illinois at Chicago where she acquired her B.A. in Liberal Arts & Sciences with a major in Criminal Justice/Political Science. Mercedes also possesses a master’s degree in Business Administration and Human Resources Management

Richard Gomez

Director of Finance

Richard Gomez, CPA, is the Finance Director for David Gomez Partners. For the first nine years of his career, Richard practiced at BDO USA, LLP (BDO), with his last position as a Senior Manager in the Chicago Private Equity audit practice.  There, Richard served both public and private clients in multiple industries, including private equity/venture capital, manufacturing and distribution, technology, and retail.

Richards specialties include providing real-time financial insights to his clients in order to optimize operational performance, serving as a strategic business partner to help identify business risks and managing a diverse portfolio of clients that require creative assistance. 

Richard is affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Illinois CPA Society, and CFA Institute.  He holds a B.A. and M.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
