David Gomez & Associates has been retained by South Carolina’s Department of Health & Environmental Control – Health Regulations to fill the Deputy Director / Program Manager position of Health Regulations for the Public Health Deputy area.
The mission behind health regulation is to plan and provide for the efficient distribution of health facilities and services; to monitor the development of these facilities and services; and to protect the public’s health by assuring that quality care is being provided.
The Deputy Director will plan, manage, and direct Health Regulations functions and will be responsible for program direction and the activity of five bureaus.
Some required qualifications and responsibilities are outlined below.
- At least 10 years of Management experience
- Knowledge of state & federal laws dealing with health regulations
- Flexibility needed for occasional travel
