The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) has employed Eileen Timmins as their new Vice President of Human Resources. MDA is the world’s leading nonprofit health agency dedicated to finding treatments and cures for muscular dystrophy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and other neuromuscular diseases.
After a diligent search of 80 days, Eileen Timmins accepted the position of Vice President of Human Resources for MDA. Eileen has worked across a variety of landscapes including Fortune 500, family owned businesses, startups, “best companies to work for”, and private equity companies. According to Eileen, “This time in my career, my goal is to be aligned to an organization, which synchronizes with my core values. MDA has been part of my family’s life for years, and this opportunity would capture that goal.”
Most recently, Eileen Timmins was a member of the Executive Leadership team at Allston Trading, where she was responsible for all aspects of global human resources. She created a firm-wide strategic framework that included objectives and strategies to establish and support a high-performance environment while fostering the company’s unique culture of candor, trust, community, accountability and direct communications.
