Workforce Solutions Alamo retained David Gomez & Associates as their trusted executive search partner to find their next Deputy Executive Director.
Workforce Solutions Alamo’s mission is to build a premier workforce that meets business demands through investments that support economic growth. Their board serves as the governing board for the regional workforce system, a network of service providers and contractors that brings people and jobs together. They represent the taxpayers of the 12-county Alamo region. Their membership reflects the diverse constituencies of the regional community: business, economic development, education, labor, community organizations, and government. As a company they believe in accountability, innovation, integrity, excellence, and partnering.
As a Deputy Executive Director the candidate is responsible for performing highly advanced policy administration and managerial tasks as well as work closely with the Executive Director in formulating and administering the organization’s strategic direction. S/he oversees and manages all aspects of the day-to-day operations that include program costs, operations, and forecast data.
In June 2015 DG&A found the perfect fit for the Deputy Executive Director: James Perry.
James Perry, a performance-driven leader, contains years of extensive leadership experience and a matching record of success in pivotal operational, logistics, and project management roles. His proven expertise leading complex operations, strategic planning, team building, financial, and project management demonstrates his excellence in empowering teams to achieve maximum results. Before joining Workforce Solutions Alamo, Perry was a Regional Manager for Armor Correctional Health Services Inc., where he was responsible for the daily oversight for budget management, contract compliance, and support services to six contracts in Florida, New York and Wisconsin. Before working for Armor Correctional Health Services, Perry was an Executive Manager and Advisor to the CEO at Navy Medicine Education and Training Command in San Antonio, Texas. While he was there he gave daily reports to the CEO for their oversight and support to the 27 facilities and employees across 13 states. Perry received his Bachelor’s in Accounting in Tampa FL, and his MBA at The George Washington University in Washington D.C.
Perry is an asset to Workforce Solutions Alamo, and we wish the best of luck to the both of them.
